Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I for one am adding one more thing to the festivities…. burning a few tires in celebration!
You all remember “global warming”… that’s the one where leftist tree huggers blame evil America for killing the planet and make wild speculations (framed as hard scientific “facts”) about the 4.5 billion year old earth’s climate based on the (maybe) 200 years we’ve actually been measuring it.
I say remember b/c some of the foremost “global warming experts” have been caught red handed colluding to fabricate evidence of warming and suppress their own data showing the earth has actually started cooling!!!! The dominoes in this massive fraud are starting to fall… the obvious logical answer that we don’t truly understand how the earth’s climate cycles works (we know there was an ice age millions of years ago so clearly there has been global warming before fossil fuels no?) and, in fact, much of the data shows the earth is actually once again COOLING is starting to be proven to be the right one.
And while it’s great to see these Al Gore worshipping nut jobs exposed, it’s also scary to be reminded of how effective and pervasive the old marxist MO of taking over a “respected” organization to lie, cheat and slander anyone who dares oppose can be.

Imagine this scenario… the new supreme court nominee is white. Then let’s reverse “white” and “hispanic” in her qoute, i.e.:

Think our imaginary Sally Smith would still be getting nominated? But it’s cool for Sonia Sotomayor.

Charles Rangel, the chairman of the congressional committee that decides what taxes all of us commoners pay, admits to income tax evasion but doesn’t see why he should be removed from his position? Seriously, WTF is this country coming to?
I wonder how much luck I’ll have when I stop paying my taxes and then say “oops, I forgot but that doesn’t mean I should be punished”.
So it’s “earth hour” and I would just like to state for the record that I turned every electrical device I own ON at 8 pm tonight and I’ll be leaving them on for a hell of a lot longer than an hour. Somebody has to keep the electrical company in business while the tree huggers sit in the dark beating their bongo drums.
And major kudos to Google for chipping in to earth hour… boy, changing the background color of the site really must have saved a lot of electricity. If Google is serious about “saving the planet”, how bout they put their money where their mouth is and TURN OFF the tens of thousands of computers powering their site?!?!? I can see the internal Google meeting… “Yeah, good idea – oh wait, that would cost us advertising revenue… hmm, let’s just change the color of the site so we can pretend to give a crap!”. Please spare me.
